  Driving Without a Speedometer

Imagine driving in a car with no speedometer.  Instead, you had a data logging device that calculated your average speed.  On your way to work you stop by the hardware store for some parts then get a cup of coffee.  When you arrive at the plant, a police officer takes a reading from your data logging device.  You averaged 42 mph so you get cited because the average speed of all the roads in town is 35 mph – you were 7 mph over the average.

Sounds unfair, right?  That is how we as an industry have been tracking production.  The information we gather and give to the pressers, if we give them performance data at all, is too little too late.  They can’t do anything about yesterday’s scores and the information is not meaningful enough to make significant changes to today’s performance.  It’s like driving a car without a speedometer.

The PieceCounter fixes those problems by communicating real-time, relevant information to the presser while they are pressing.  Do your presser a favor, do your self a favor, install the PieceCounter by Wesvic Systems.
